Jay Booth founded BHI in 2020 after 20+ years in residential and commercial construction. He's the kind of contractor who'll spend an hour walking you through exactly why he's recommending one approach over another; and you'll leave that conversation glad he did. He takes the time to truly understand your home, your vision, and your family before a single tool comes out. That thoroughness is why his clients keep calling him back project after project.
Our Process
Every project starts the same way: Jay comes to you. From the first visit through the final walkthrough, you'll have one point of contact who knows every detail of your project — because he was there for all of it.
Initial Meeting
Jay's first visit isn't a sales call, it's a conversation.
He'll walk your space, ask a lot of questions, and listen to what you actually want. Goals, timeline, budget, and the little details that matter to you. Nothing gets assumed.
Complimentary Estimate
Every estimate is built from scratch — no templates, no ballpark figures. Jay prices out projects line by line so you know exactly what you're getting and why. Because of that level of detail, estimates typically take 2–3 weeks. We think that's worth the wait.
Project Begins
Once you're signed on, you'll receive a start date and a clear plan.
Jay runs a tight, respectful job site: low dust, mess-free, and considerate of your daily routine. You'll hear from him regularly throughout the project, not just when there's a problem.
The Finishing Touches
The details are where good remodels become great ones.
